You will be responsible for…
Testing eBay Tablet Web Projects
Testing mobile eBay native apps for different mobile products, smart phones (iPhone Verticals, and Windows )
Testing Mobile web
Testing the mobile apps using simulators (iPhone, Android, Device Anywhere and others)
Creating and implementing test plans and automated test scripts.
Working closely with the product and development teams (both remote and local) to understand product requirements, architecture and technology.
Filing, tracking and reporting defects
Reporting progress, risks and test coverage effectively.
Implementing QA standards and process improvement in SDLC.
Configuring defect and test management tools.
Managing QA devices and environment

Job Requirements
- Experience testing on mobile devices - Android, iPad, iPhone, Symbian, webOS, and/or Windows Mobile.
- Comfortable working on Mac or Windows, and with various mobile devices and simulators.
- Experience with Device Anywhere is a plus.
- Strong understanding of QA methodology and good programming skills.
- Ability to effectively interact across multiple departments and group.
- BS in computer science/engineering or equivalent experience.
- 5+years of experience as a software QA engineer.
- Strong understanding of QA methodology and good programming skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in creating or testing mobile applications.
- Comfortable with Mac/Unix/Linux/Windows operating systems.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team to accomplish critical business objectives.
Education
Bachelors Degree Required
