Primary Job Responsibilities:
The eBay Mobile team is focused on reshaping mobile commerce by delivering the best experiences across all mobile platforms. We're building out a team that will be responsible for developing the HTML5 framework to serve as the foundation for delivering all the different web applications across various mobile platforms. If you love taking on a complicated challenge and end up with a simpler solution for other developers to use, then this will be an incredible opportunity for you to excel at that. The right candidate must have a fervent passion for developing web applications, a constant desire to build great UI and products for people to use. If you have the drive and love for building great software, this will be a great role for you. Develop advanced web applications using Javascript, HTML5, & CSS3.
Must have a solid grasp and experience with MVC and OO design.
Design and implement features on your own.
Lead technical designs on more complex features.Work closely with a team of engineers, managers, Product Management, QA, and operations.Estimate engineering effort; plan implementation, and rollout system changes.Contribute to all aspects of the project lifecycle: Define, design, develop, and test./
Share engineering support, release, and on-call responsibilities. Find and help fix stability / scalability / performance issues in a very time critical environment. Job Requirements

- Expert knowledge of Javascript (4+ years)
- Expert knowledge of HTML (including HTML 5)
- Expert CSS3 Knowledge (2+ years)
- Experience developing frameworks that were used by multiple applications.
- Experience developing web applications for mobile phones and tablets.
- Expert with optimization techniques, accessibility techniques, profiling and debugging
- Experience using client side frameworks such as Backbone, SproutCore, Sencha, etc…
- Experience building rich client side interactive applications
- Experience using & integrating web services
- Using source control systems such as Git or Subversion
- 5+ years of large scale, full lifecycle development experience, preferably at a high-volume online company.
- Solid foundation in computer science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design.
- Good analytical and problem solving skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong software design, problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Proven results oriented person with a delivery focus in a high velocity, high quality environment
