Principle Android Application Engineer (eBay Mobile)
Job Location: Portland, OR
Primary Job Responsibilities
Develop code for Android application; approximately half of the time will be spent coding advanced features.
Bridge product, business, engineering and QA teams ensuring that architecture meets the needs of the broader organization.
Lead design and code reviews of the product
Work with teams producing services to ensure technically compatible design strategies are being pursued across engineering departments.
Work with peers on other technology platforms to ensure architecture supports cohesive and compatible feature sets
Lead architecture and platform discussions which will help determine the future capabilities of the product line

Job Requirements
Must be an excellent engineer, capable of writing efficient and problem free code which will run on a variety of Android devices
Must be capable of communicating highly technical information to a non-technical audience and translate non-technical business or functional requirements into actionable product specifications
